Christmas Eve Services

Join us on Christmas Eve for our regular Sunday service or our special candlelight services, or both. Each of our services is unique with different musical groups performing yet each offers the same message - that Jesus, our Savior comes to dwell among us.

  • 9 Am - Traditional Sunday Service

What a letdown when people break their promises! Maybe we have been a victim of a broken promise, or perhaps we’ve been the one who’s broken a promise. In today’s Gospel, however, we see a promise kept. The angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will conceive and bear a Son. This pledge to Mary is part of the ongoing fulfillment of God’s promises. When we see this promise kept in the coming of Jesus, we have the assurance that we can always trust God that He acts according to His Word. Our heavenly Father never breaks His promises!

  • 5 pm - contemporary Candlelight Service

5 pm: Family Contemporary Candlelight Service. Our 5 pm service is a Family Contemporary Service where our Youth Choir, IncrediBELLS (Youth handbell choir), and Small Ensemble will be performing along with the congregation singing our beloved Christmas hymns led by our praise band.

  • 7 pm - traditional candlelight service

7 pm: Traditional Candlelight Service. Our 7 pm service is a Traditional Service where our Adult Choir, Bells of Peace handbell choir, and Small Ensemble will be performing along with the congregation singing our beloved Christmas hymns led by our organist.

  • 11 pm - Traditional candlelight service

11 pm: Traditional Candlelight Service with Lord's Supper. Our 11 pm service is a Traditional Service where a soloist and Small Ensemble will be performing along with the congregation singing our beloved Christmas hymns led by piano & cantors. Celebrate with the Lord’s Supper during the special service.

New Year's Eve Sunday Service - Dec. 31st 9 am

Hindsight may be 20/20, but it’s often difficult to recognize what is right in front of us. How, then, do we recognize what God is doing in our midst? The answer comes in journeying with Mary and Joseph to the temple, where their infant son, God’s Son, is presented before the Lord. As has been promised over the centuries, the Lord Himself comes to His temple, and all nations will rejoice before Him. Within the temple courts, Simeon beholds the long-awaited Messiah and rejoices that righteousness has come to him. Not only has this gift come to Simeon, but it has also come to us all! When we receive Jesus through His Word and Sacrament this day, we, too, can recognize the sign of God’s great love for us and rejoice in His salvation.
