Our Community: Denver Metro Area

At our church, we believe life is a long-term mission trip, and every day is a short-term mission opportunity. God's word makes it clear that it's our job to share the love of Christ with people we see every day, whether we're in our local community, or halfway across the world. And this mission not only impacts those we serve, but it is a pathway to spiritual transformation in our own lives.

  • A Precious Child, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. We provide basic essentials to children in need to empower them to succeed in school including clothing, coats, shoes, sports equipment, backpacks, school supplies, and toiletries. Summit of Peace has donation bins that can be found in our fellowship hall to help support this important ministry.

  • Angel HAnds

Angel Hands is a dedicated group of ladies from Summit of Peace who use their sewing, crochet, and knitting talents to provide comfort for bereaved families at the loss of their precious newborn through the gifts of a beautiful gown, hat, booties, and blanket. Currently we donate these goods to St. Luke's NICU/Maternity Medical Center. If you are interested in making goods, please contact the church.

  • Arising Hope provides a safe place of love, healing and empowerment to victims of domestic violence. They give safe emergency shelter and housing; as well as many other resources and services that assist women, their children and their domestic pets into a life free from fear and abuse. • At Salt of the Earth we are committed to living life together as extended families on mission, as the church has done from its beginning. We do this most obviously in what we call Missional Communities (MCs).Each one of our Missional Communities is unique and in a different stage of development. And yet, they all desire to live in deep relationship with God (UP), each other (IN), and their broader community (OUT).

  • St. Francis Center is a refuge for men and women who are homeless in the metro Denver area, providing shelter along with services that enable people to meet their basic needs for daily survival and to transition out of homelessness. • Sweet Dream in a Bag is a Non Profit public charity and ministry of love which provides children transitioning out of homelessness with new bedding, love, acceptance, encouragement and hope. Summit of Peace once a year collects, packs, and donates comforters, sheets, blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to this wonderful ministry.
