Covid Updates & TRi-County Guidelines

Section Title

These times certainly have been unusual for Summit of Peace and other Christians. With that in mind, we want to remind you of a few things....

  1. SOP has never closed! Between online worship, caring for and serving the community, discipleship in our groups as they meet online, and much more, SOP is still alive and well and making a difference by helping people to Grow in Faith, Share the Faith and Live the Faith.
  2. In-person worship is done with the health and safety of those who attend first and foremost in our plansKeeping people safe, especially those most vulnerable and at risk, will guide everything we do as we worship in person at Summit of Peace.
  3. Our bias will always be to follow the rules and recommendations of the government and health experts. The Bible clearly teaches we should obey those in authority over us, unless what they command is in direct violation of God’s will and Word (Romans 13:1-7, 1 Peter 2:13-17). We do not believe this to be the case at this time, and so we will obey the present restrictions in place in the State of Colorado regarding public gatherings and Tri-County Guidelines

We will continue to worship together both in person and online during this pandemic. We want you to feel comfortable and provide you a service that fits your needs! We encourage you to stay connected through our in-person services, online services, and with your small group. (And if you are not in a small group, now is a great time to get connected! Reach out to our office for more details.)

God is in control and will continue to use our church family to be a blessing to one another and to the world.
