"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

WHY ARE WE HERE

We are HERE to call men and women to celebrate and be changed by the life, death, and resurrection of JESUS and HIS Lordship over all of life -

for the good of our community and the world.

In the gospel, we meet a GOD who has acted decisively in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus to redeem and restore people to Himself.  JESUS lives the life we could not live, dies the death that we deserve to die, and is raised from the dead and revealed to be the King over all creation.  This is no arbitrary event in history; it is the decisive moment.

OUR CORE BELIEFS

  1. That the Holy Scriptures are the true, inspired, and authoritative Word of God.
  2. That God is a Triune God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. That humans are born sinful and in need of God's forgiveness, love, and grace.
  4. That our sins are forgiven through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, both true God & true man.
  5. That God's Word, Holy Baptism, and the Lord's Supper are ways that God brings His forgiveness and grace into our lives.
  6. That eternal life is a free gift from God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
  7. That Jesus Christ will one day return as victorious Lord of all.

THE LORD'S SUPPER

We believe this is a sacred meal whereby Jesus Christ offers His true body and blood in and with the bread and wine. Christ invites us to join Him at His family table to receive forgiveness for our sins and the strengthening of our faith. If you are a baptized Christian and you share this belief of the true presence in the bread and wine, we welcome you to the Lord’s Table.

Before taking the Lord’s Supper by considering these questions:

Do I believe that with the bread and wine I am receiving Christ’s true body and blood for the forgiveness of my sins?

Do I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior?

Do I realize that I am a sinner?

Will I intentionally make an effort to change my sinful life?
