God Speaks in the storm
April 1st, 2020 - 7 pm
For thirty-five chapters in the book of Job God is silent. For thirty-five chapters God doesn’t say a word. But in Job 38:1 the hidden God becomes the revealed God and what he reveals is incredibly amazing! Instead of an explanation from God, Job receives a wonderful revelation from God. This leads Job not to the self-pity, self-accusation or self-discipline suggested from his friends, but self-surrender to the Almighty Creator of the universe.
Maundy Thursday- On Earth is not His Equal!
April 9th, 2020 - 7 pm
On Maundy Thursday, even in the midst of darkness, Christ instituted a victory meal—his true body and blood. Job 41 is also all about victory. God’s victory over that same evil foe, Satan, who still means deadly woe!
Good Friday – Tearing Down the Spite House
April 10th, 2020 - 7 pm
If anybody had a reason to live in a Spite House, with large amounts of animosity and resentment, it was Job. But he prayed for his enemies. So did Jesus. And, by God’s grace, so will we! Through God’s sacrifice, we have been brought from being His enemies to His friends and children forever.

All Midweek Services begin at 7 pm
Holy Week is the last week before Easter and begins with Palm Sunday. Traditionally, Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus's entry into Jerusalem riding on a colt and as was noted by the crowds present who shouted praises and waved palm branches. Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper, where Christ gives the new covenant found in Holy Communion. Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus and his subsequent death in this Tenebrae service.

Encountering Jesus - A Sunday Lenten Sermon Series
When Jesus encountered people, their lives were transformed through powerful experiences and unexpected answers. During His ministry, Jesus encountered skeptics, outcasts, the privileged, the grieving, religious people and even Satan himself. Amazingly, the conversations that Jesus had with them addressed some of our biggest questions and doubts today. Come and listen to Jesus once again and receive the transformation He alone can give.
ENCOUNTERING JESUS
Join us on Sundays. When Jesus encountered people, their lives were transformed through powerful experiences and unexpected answers.
Encounter with the Grieving - March 29th
What difference does Jesus make in our lives? In this encounter with Mary, Martha and Lazarus we see both of His natures (full God/full man) and his purpose (make the world right, deal with sin, and resurrect life). Jesus is angry about death, evil and suffering and came to do something about it. In bringing Lazarus from death to life, we get a glimpse of His purpose and promise as He put his own life on a path from life to death to complete that purpose.
Encounter with the Crowds - April 5th
What is your purpose here on this earth? Jesus’ purpose was not a King like parade of halleluiah’s, but a journey to the cross to drive the prince of this world out and draw us to Himself. Our purpose is one of following Jesus, surrendering our earthly lives for His Kingdom, and to serve Him. As this purpose becomes difficult, we too may request for something simpler, but God calls us to obedience and to follow through, that the Father’s name will be glorified.

Central to the Christian faith is the belief that Jesus proved that he was who he claimed to be by rising from the dead. Without this miracle Jesus is just another false messiah – deluded into believing he was the son of God and foolishly giving his life to save the world. But the resurrection proves that Jesus’ death rescued us all and that his mission to restore God’s creation has begun. Best of all, Jesus taught that, because he lives, we shall live also! He is the “first fruits” of all who believe. We too will one day rise again!
